Exhibitions and Membership
Rebecca is a fine artist who grew up in the Saratoga Springs area. In 2012 she received her BFA with a concentration in drawing from Pratt Institute. She has had a passion for the arts since a very young age and has exhibited her work in several businesses and art galleries in the Capital Region as well as some during her time at school in New York City. Prior to joining the Saratoga Arts team, she was a custom framing specialist at a local craft store for several years. She gained knowledge in coordinating art shows from working as gallery manager at Spring Street Gallery, gallery assistant at Mimosa Gallery as well as volunteering at Saratoga Arts. As an artist with roots in the Capital Region she is passionate about providing opportunities for regional and emerging artists. In her spare time she attends modern dance classes that she has been taking since she was a little girl. She also loves to travel with her husband, and she visits art museums and galleries as much as she can! Her home, which is also her studio, is located in Ballston Lake, NY.

Administrative and Events Coordinator
Born and raised in Texas, Katharine has called New York home since 2017. She grew up in her parent’s frame shop and gallery, surrounded by her mother’s watercolor paintings and an art studio. This childhood upbringing helped foster her love and appreciation for artists and artisans. Katharine has a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and spent 12 years as a speech therapist, a rewarding opportunity to impact individuals and families. Katharine’s love of textiles and color inspired her to teach herself how to sew and knit, and she spends most of her evenings working on or planning new projects. She is thrilled to be a part of Saratoga Arts, an ideal place to pursue her passion for people and the arts, sharing and connecting individuals to familiar and new art experiences. In her spare time, you can find Katharine and her husband spending time with their two dogs or out on a long run.
